My name is Matt Rousu, and I created this site.  I am Dean and Professor of Economics in the Sigmund Weis School of Business at Susquehanna University.  As a youth, I didn’t enjoy theatre much, but a college class that was (literally) called Theatre Appreciation helped plant the seed that eventually grew into a love of theatre.  The next year I met my future wife, a music and theatre double-major, and started attending plays and musicals regularly.

I think economics is a wonderful subject and I enjoy teaching it.  I hope students of economics will better understand economics concepts by being able to relate them to examples from songs.  I also hope this site allows those who love theatre to learn more about economics, and those who love economics to learn more about the theatre.
